Hi all, its been a busy few weeks here with almost 3 weeks of school holidays and eater long weekend all wrapped up together! it's been so good to have the kids home from Uni as well, all home together is very special now :) to enjoy family time together hence the reason for me being so quiet, i like to guard our family time and take every moment in to enjoy while we can. How cute is this little bunny! makes me smile each time I look at it. This clever idea was designed by a special Iris Folding friend that Ive known for some time now, her name is Silvia Griffin a beautiful lady who is raising money for down syndrome, you can find her site here.
Besides being a master at making Iris fold patterns Silvia has designed these great crochet cards and more which you can find on craftsuprint site. Now who has a stash of fibers like mine and you dont know what to do with it?

These crochet cards are perfect for your fibers! I only know basic crochet I cant even read a pattern so that's how easy these cards are! I will say though this makes a smaller box and pouch but hey it's a great alternative especially when all the kids are really interested in is whats inside! I love this text and had it proven to me just lately.... as the last 2 and 1/2 years of battling panic attacks I have not driven myself more than a 15 minuet drive from home or been to a dentist appointment by myself ever! (I still don't like the dentist) When i was faced with doing both these things last week i started to melt down wondering how I could do this....God answered before i even called and gave me a such peace that everything would be OK and the day was great! Such an achievement that most people would take for granted but I know God gave me the strength to reclaim back these simple things I need to do. Remember, you are very special to God, and He hears you and answers you. Reclaim parts of your life and know that He always has your best interest at heart. He is working things out for your good, and He will always answer — sometimes before you even call!

Daffodils By Annett Holler

Hi all, Wow is all i could say when I received an email from Annett Holler showing me her Daffodils that she had made! She said she was inspired by the lily video that I'd done some time back and then so kindly allowed me to make a video tutorial to show you all how these were done. Please pop over and check out Annett's daffodils and her blog site, they are absolutely amazing! say hi to Annett and leave a message to keep this creative encouragement going giving credit where it is due! I loved making these Annett and hope I have done some justice to your beautiful design. So if you thought you didn't have all the equipment to make gorgeous Daffodils think again! these were made with the 1 and 1/4" circle punch for the petals (which everyone can access a circle punch) and a 2 x 2"square (for the throat of the flower) which I cut on the trimmer. I used a 3/4" circle to build the flower on to but you can cut this from a small scrap. If you don't have a distressing tool use the edge of a small pair of scissors. The backing on my card are spellbinder nestabilities dies called Beaded ovals and Ive sponged this before taking it off the die... Enjoy!

Hi all, you wouldn't think its turned Autumn here the weather has still been like summer, beautiful days! I hope all my overseas friends are starting to enjoy your spring! these are my two favorite times of the year. Easter is fast approaching and you may enjoy these cute little Easter egg flowers to add to your your cards :) quick and simple to make! 2 step owl punch Tulip

HI all Ive had this made for a while now but recent events put some things on hold for a while. We are off to visit our kids in Uni this weekend which we are all looking forward to and the break from things will be a breath of fresh air, I miss my kids so much and our youngest daughter has had a few melt downs and tears over the past 2 weeks getting use to being the only sibling at home. I talked to my son on skype yesterday and today and he made me feel so happy. My family is very precious to me. Any ways enjoy the video and instructions as I did making them :)

Time to move on from Stampin up

Just a quick post today to let you all know i have resigned as a stampin up demonstrator. For the past weeks now someone has been reporting me to head office and they have been ringing and asking me to edit or remove my posts and videos as they contained or I promoted non stampin up products and i was breaching their policies. I have been with stampin up for a year now as a hobbyist and my decision to resign is that I was NOT going to edit or remove any of my blog posts or video clips, as you could imagine how much time, effort, and creating goes into these things.( I will still have to edit things anyway) Although this has been upsetting my biggest disappointment was that not once, even in my resignation email did Stampin up thank me for 12 months of creative input ........ inspire.create.share ........ that's what i was doing. When I first joined my husband said to me I hope this doesn't limit your creativeness, and you know he was spot on! it can do that and it did, the world of paper crafting is huge! and stampin up is just one part of that. my biggest peeve is that I'll continue to use the products because I love them but be a passive advertiser for them anyway. I respect the fact that so many make stampin up their sole business but for me this would only limit my creative flow. I figure you can only get pruned back to blossom somewhere else even more beautiful.

Blossom Petals punch Daffodil

Hi all, its seems like ages since Ive posted and I thank those who have emailed me concerned at where I am. A lot has happened in just a few weeks..... our son got a late acceptance into the Uni he wanted near Newcastle and decided to leave the bus builders and go off to Uni.... a bit of a shock for us but after learning some valuable lessons in life as a mum I feel happy about his decision. He will be doing a Bachelor of Education (secondary) TAS (Technology and applied studies) majoring in wood tech and minoring in I.T and Beth will start her second year of primary teaching. Wow I still cant believe we'll have two teachers in the family. Madaleine starts year 10 of high school and is missing them both already! the house is so quiet :( So i thank you for your patience as we took the time to shop for Uni, spend some family time together and get them all settled for the year.
I had this made just before Ben popped all these changes on us and I hope you will enjoy this punch art Daffodil made with the new Blossom petals punch.
