Ive enjoyed all that you Ladies have on your wonderful blogs. well done!!.....now i know this is not 7 as the rules say but i am so pressed for time at the moment ....so here are my hopefully 7 random facts about me:
1. I love all the colours of the rainbow put together...for example when i sort my ribbon, card, etc i put it into colour order as would be in a rainbow.
2. i have to be organised but my house is so small i live in an oranised chaos of not knowing where to put anything!
3. As i ride or walk each day i sort out my thoughts and things going on in my life with God.
4.I love the smell of paper.
5.I always have my toenails painted...some colour!
6.Its freaks me out when im in the car with a learner driver.
7.I don't like windy nights and i love CAKE! any type of cake:)

few there we go that was hard thinking of those ....but i asked my youngest daughter and she gave me a few tips...LOL...until next post ...Valita

Diamond fold card and another monday

Hi everyone, Im late getting mondays class out again....but here it is. We had fun trying this diamond fold card. The Youtube video tutorial on how to make this is found here. Please note this is not me on the video as some have thought. LOL. If you cant veiw youtube here is a link to circle of crafters Judith has a pattern there just scroll down.
I love the scallop punch which i made this center flower with, i bought it not long ago and i know it will have many uses.....a great investment. The leaves were made using ribbon. Ive had a few people ask me how i made the flower scince i posted this so ill add this short tutorial for you.

Using a scallop punch out make cuts into the center without loosing any petals.

Using your shaping tool and a padded mat press the petals so they curl up.

On each petal make a half turn then add a center, gliter etc

I hope this has helped.....Heres a pic of the second card.

This is a great shadow box stamp from Impressive stamps Australia. It can be used in so many ways. I added punches over the stamps and 3d the lady bug.
I have to say thankyou to Mel for the you rock my socks bolg award she gave me and would love to pass this on to...well i cant give it back to Mel cause at the moment shes just rocked my socks right off!! LOL...so I'll pass this on to Chrissy. You rock Girl! thankyou for the inspiration you have given me and many others....Luv Valita

Arte y pico award

Hi all, another busy week has gone by with the bike camp going off great. All the kids rode really well and it was a happy day all round. I sat down at my laptop to catch up on email etc and found Chrissy had awarded me with the Arte y pico award....it was a nice surprise and thankyou so much Chrissy. Like Chrissy i only started my blog in november last year and to see so many hits and beatiful comments is fantastic....thankyou all for the support.

Blog Award ...and 2 lots of goodies

Hi everyone today i sat at the computer to check my emails etc and found i'd been awarded by Chrissy for an excellent blog. I was soooo suprised because i am still very green to this bloggin thing and ive had to pretty much feel my way around...Thank you Chrissy i so appreciate this and its so nice to see so many people posting great comments about my Blog thank you all.


Well here are the 2 lots of goodies .....i was at a Spotlight store yesterday and picked up 5 lots of ribbon/fiber for only $1 each, 5 meters in each one 35 meters in all!! a bargin...don't you just love commin home with a bargin!!!

Heres the other goodies... i cooked some bickies today for the kids to give there friends for Valentines day tomorrow. Just kept them simple and packaged them simple as well. They'll go down a treat Im sure. Until next time Have a Happy Valentines day. Hey some good news while Ive been tapping away here Dave my DH has come home from Weight Watchers with his first 5 kg weight loss Im so proud of him ...good on ya Dave love ya heaps XXXXX
