Hi all, we got the girls back to Uni and enjoyed a lovely weekend with family and friends for Ben's surprise 21st party. We are so proud of everything he has achieved and has planned for his life!
We recently helped him buy another old school BMW which he loves and that was my inspiration for his card and cake!
A few pics for you :)
I was sick with the flu last week when i made the video and accidentally deleted it from the camera so Im sorry its not a step by step tutorial for you all. enjoy anyway :) Blessings to you

Don’t let anyone think
less of you because you are young.
Enjoying our eldest daughters birthday has been great! being able to spend some time together while she is doing her teaching prac has been super busy but a blessing to us all. So today's card is a rainbow to suit her cake. I don't own a rainbow die so you know me I will find another way to make one ;) made with circle dies and a 3/4" punch for the center. The clouds were made with circles......... 1 and 1/4, 1", 3/4" & 1/2" I did some background sponging with two different scallops glued together and finished it with some mini hearts and a little glitter on the clouds. The cake was fun to make and messy too, but I love colour mess! you can find the details for the cake here. Rainbow Pinata cake
I hope you enjoy! sit back now and watch the video :)
Hi all....after the rush of the weekend wedding and putting kids on and off trains we now have Beth home with us for 6 weeks while she dose her last teaching prac before she graduates... Ben turns the big 21 on Wednesday.... Wow where has time gone! it was so good to all be together even if it was only short :)
Soooo I thought I would continue with some more monster fun.... this one is a get well card for a friend of mine who has just had surgery. Really quick and easy to make ! the pic below has a list of supplies :)
Here's a girl version!

Hi all, This past weekend had us on the gold coast of Queensland enjoying my nieces wedding and I just wanted to show you in a quick post the card I made for them. Monster inspired by Dean Murray and his awesome art work
I also made them this crochet doily.........
Congrats Emily and Blake :) xxx
I made these two birthday cards ..... one for my daughters friends 18th
Hi all, its good to get back in a have a play with some paper craft after making quite a few puppets! I finally finished 10 indigenous puppets all going to a school in Victoria, check them out over at my puppet blog, VR puppet builds .
So for a while now Ive had the idea of a part motorbike punch art and at last Ive put it together.
I used mainly circle punches for this one, card stock, black and white ink, sponge dauber, glitter, glue, foam dots, emboss folder called sun rays, washi tape flags and a stamp saying.... see below pic for details. Please keep reading.......
One thing I would like to mention is if you enjoy this and or my other projects don't take advantage of my designs free or for sale.....please link me back and give some credit. We should all do this to encourage each others talents or they just get lost out in cyberspace and no one knows who's made what. A lot of time and effort goes into making these and truly this only take a few minuets to do a quick search as to who has made things. I have always done this! I have also had quiet a few stampin up demonstrators redo my designs on video and blogs and give no links or credits back, one even put instruction on her site which is one of my designs that's for sale here! she has never answered my emails. This is very disappointing and gives your company a bad name! just proves how cut throat and tramp over the paper craft business has become and the need to put up new ideas even if there NOT your own.... come on do the right thing guys! use some paper-craft etiquette.
Hi all, My son gave me the idea to make my version of a daft punk helmet card. Daft punk is a music band. So I took on the challenge and the above pic was the result.....
Over this last Christmas break gone he was mad on making his own helmet, first from a paper cut out glued together and then he epoxy glued it inside and out, fiber glassed the inside then bogged the outside. Since this pic he has sanded it all back and its looking great! I think he eventually wants cut out the visor and add led lights.
you can purchase the basic pattern here... Daft punk pattern $3.95
Not this is only the front pattern as a guide and shape for your card. You will need to cut a back base card with some tabs added as shown in the video. I hope you enjoy this idea for the men in your life!
Hi all, Ive been having some fun with what I'm calling Doodle punch art.... a combination of flat punch art using designer papers and free hand doodle drawing. I usually have everyone freaking out wondering how to post my huge 3 dimensional cards that stick out to billio but this one is totally flat ... LOL. I made this card for our youngest daughters 18th Birthday..... I know it looks like a boys card but who cares that's what she wanted ;)
For these doodle cards I love to use a natural coloured background. For the punched pieces I chose scraps of designer papers in the colours I needed. Punches/dies used were a 3 and 1/2" circle from one of my nestebility dies for the large moon, two different size star punches, the small tag punch with a little trimming for the rocket body, 3 large hearts from the heart to heart punch for the rocket fins (two cut in half), a 1/2" circle for the port hole and the second largest petal from the blossom petals punch for the rocket flames (trimmed). Punches used were mostly from stampin up.Then I use a fine tip sharpie marker and go to town with your own doodling..... basically edging your punched pieces and then adding in a few little hand doodled stars, dots, moon craters and a little message. This is what will personalize your card. I also did some bunting doodling on the inside to tie it all in using the points of a star punch as the flags.
I found for me this was really fun to do. We also had fun making some buntings and other decorations for her star grazing party. It rained all that morning but praise God the heavens opened up the stars came out just in time to put up the decorations and get the party started! We were overwhelmed at the love and care of Madaleine's friends especially her new friends from our new church, such a breath of fresh air to be around loving caring and encouraging people, just what we need ! It was a great night and weekend together enjoying Mothers day at the same time!
I hope you enjoy this technique and give it a go!
Blessings to you
Hi all, I have loved the look of the Chloe stem die from memory box but at the same time I knew this would be so easy to make with my punches. So today lets give this a go!
For the Chloe stem in the video tutorial I used a 2 and 1/2" circle punch and two different size hole punches. The smaller flower head was made using a 1 and 3/4" circle punch. Some glue and glitter to match you card stock colour. Here's a close up....
For my card I sponged a cloud background, mounted the two flowers onto the same size circles I used to make them and had a bit of fun with some doodle drawing with a fine marker. I made a chevron stencil using my square punch and sponged some colours using the stencil. Stamped my saying and added a strip of ric rac trim. So sit back and enjoy the video :)
Blessings to you
