showcasing a simple flower punch
Hi all, Ive been looking for some simple ways to demonstrate punches and after reading some other peoples ideas found this pretty one that will work great! not my original concept. this is done on a quarter A4 size card stock using a scallop border punch for the trim. The flower is not Stampin up but the same idea will work with their 5 petal flower punch! I used the spring bouquet punch for the center of the flower, I know this is not in the current Stampin up catalogue but you could replace this for the larger Bo Ho blossom punch. After punching out the flower i glued it back on offsetting the petals to create peep holes through the card inked the petals and covered them with crystal effects and added glitter. Stamped a saying and it's done!! how easy is that to both demonstrate and make!
Blessings to you

Adding Butterfly parts /video
Hi all, after my last post and having some more play time with my butterfly punch ......Ive come up with i think is a great addition to this already great butterfly punch from Stampin up. Ive added a body and antenna all using the same butterfly punch....let me show you.
First punch a butterfly the colour you choose mine was DP paper called pink flamingo next in a coordinating colour ...mine is chocolate chip, to use for the body and antenna thread this back into the punch just picking up the lower part of the wing with the same on the punch and clip this off. This is now your body so glue this to the middle of your butterfly.
To make the antenna's go back into your chocolate chip punch out and just pick up the lower section of the wings and punch! Glue these to your butterfly. See my video for a tip on how to glue these!! and to finish i added crystal effects to both the body and antenna and sprinkled green fleck glitter over the top and your done! how cool is that! The tutorial for the puffy flower I added to my card is found here on Creations by Corie blog.
I hope you enjoy this butterfly tip!
Blessings to you

Scallop Circle Easel Card /video
Hi All, between now and mothers day we've had two birthdays! our youngest daughter turned 15 on Monday and my father turned 80, so its been a busy time preparing for parties and having family around... always a good thing! which left me thinking of a card i could make quickly!!
I made the scallop circle card up before all this and have left it till after all the hype to post it to you all. I first seen this tutorial done on Lynne's blog, pop over and check hers out! A great way to use all those nestabilities shapes not just the circles!
Stampin up products used for this card were:
Very Vanilla & more mustard card stock
DP paper from Windsor knot
Stamps were ... Inspired by nature, sincere salutations, flight of the butterfly.
Inks, close to coco, choc chip, basic black
Punches, BoHo blossoms, Butterfly, large and wide oval, 1,3/8' circle
I hope you enjoy this idea, i don't take credit for it, just enjoyed playing with this concept.
Blessings to you

Bookmark Card for Mothers Day
Hi everyone, feels like ages since Ive posted last! Ive had some work out of the home which has been a really nice change for me. I needed to build my confidence back up after so long with the panic attacks plus I have been a stay at home Mum for a long time. So I wanted to get this quick post in before i go to bed.....with mothers day only a couple of days away i thought i better send my Mum off a card so here's what i came up with! A book mark card. sorry for the bad photo not sure why the colours didn't come out so good here....anyhow this is snack easy to make. I used a piece of card stock 11 1/2' x 6' scored at 4 1/2' and 8' and then perforated on the 8' score to create the tear off bookmark . here's a few more pics.........
and if you want to see more watch the video...hope you enjoy
