Butterfly punch Pansies / video

Hi all, happy easter for this weekend we have our daughter coming home for a Uni break which we are so excited about and it will be one year on good Friday that Granny passed away....where has this year gone! this easter will be happy which we need so badly so i just wanted to wish you all a happy easter aslo. Today's post was inspired by some talented ladies after i had done some looking around on other blogs. This first one is by Janet another by Mary Jo.... also one by Tina arnt they gorgeous! I don't have any re inkers as yet as all my pads are new and very juicy! so i decided to experiment with just the pads with getting the colour on and was really pleased how they turned out.

Theses were done with 2 Stampin up butterfly punches so quick and easy! I sprayed the punch outs with water and dabbed then into 3 different colours...moving the colour around with an aqua brush.

Summer Sum, Bravo Burgundy and Elegant eggplant.

I then let then dry for a few minuets until they were damp not wet and shaped them with my knitting needle. this gave them a ruffled looks to the edge of the petals. Set them to dry completely and put them together with a brad. last I added some glitter to the center and some vein lines with a sponging of the elegant eggplant ink around the edges. they are so beautiful, they remind me of my mums pansies she would grow in the garden when i was little! she loves the deep burgundy ones :) so Ive attached a video here and you can see exactly how Ive done these ....happy easter everyone!! remember Jesus died because he has an overwhelming love for YOU!

and a last thought

I have been crucified with Christ:
and I myself no longer live, but Christ
lives in me. And the real life i now have
within this body is a result of my trusting
in the Son of God, who loved me
and gave Himself for me.
Galatians 2:20

Great job! Thanks so much for the video. A tip to share is that if you do not have reinkers, you can squeeze your inkpad when closed (top to the bottom) then when you open your ink, you should have some wet ink on the top you can use with the aqua painter.
Thanks again!
