Hi all, First of all please keep praying for Madaleine in Ireland, she is involved in some volunteer mission outreach work in Dublin where the church she is attending is packed to standing room only and groups are meeting in Hotels to worship, they are building a larger kitchen so they can run soup kitchens for the many homeless people of Dublin and many other outreach programs on the go...if you are interested or would like to donate please press the donation button here

or on the top right side bar and write Ireland in the description all money raised will go straight to helping the needs in Ireland so in advance thank you. I love this pic of Mad doing outreach on Dublin city streets in Ireland... God works in the most amazing ways! if only we are open and willing.

Still having some video problems... I think its with the hard drive but well give this a go....
Here is my Lucky 4 leaf clover st Patrick's day card, I don't normally make many st pats day cards but this is in honor of Madaleine being in Ireland this year. I loved how these little leaves came out so real looking and really easy to make! You will need a 4 petaled flower punch or die any will do (Martha Stuart has a nice punch), mine is a sizzix brand die. Green card, scissors, emboss tools, soft mat, green ink pad and a white Crayola pencil.

Cut out your 4 your leaf petal flowers and with your scissors cut small v shapes a little deeper into the center. With my die shape this step helped them look a little more realistic but depending on what you have you may not need to do this step. Sponge all the edges with a darker colour of green. I love using my cheap regular Crayola pencil!! it can do so many things....make an arch shape zig zags on each leaf. Then use your emboss tool and pad to shape them up.... also give the ends of each leaf a little pinch in.

Lastly cut some thin strips for card as grass.... here you can choose to add some ink to a few strips to give the grass depth, glue onto your card (I lightly sponged a green background first which also helped give the card depth along with layering up my card front), add a few dew drops with crystal effects and your done!

Here are a few st Pats day decorations I made this year... and had a little play with paint shop pro.

A little lucky 4 leaf clover pot plant I crocheted. I am selling my Crochet Amigurumi locally and all money raised goes to Ireland.

You can see more of my Crochet Amigurumi and some of the other things Ive been making lately here on Pinterest
So sit back now and enjoy my video tutorial... enjoy!
Blessings to you

heart Christmas pudding card

Open in Mobile App Hi all, sitting here in humid hot weather :( with an ear ache that dose not help much. Anyway I'm off to the doctor in and hour so I wanted to get this up and survive the heat for the rest of the day. Beth comes home from Bali on Thursday and Ben has been home now for a couple of weeks. Madaleine finishes school for the year next week and plans so far for Christmas is to spend some time with my Mum and Dad. I've also finished a few doily's. You can find all the links to those patterns on my Pinterest board http://pinterest.com/valitareynolds/crafts-i-ve-made/

I got the inspiration for this tutorial from a little felt Christmas decoration in the shape of a heart but made to look like a Christmas pudding. I think its come up pretty cute as a gift card. See all the supply's needed in the pic below to make a whole bunch for yourself, they were supper quick to put together and you could also try this same concept with different size hearts on a regular shaped card. Enjoy!

 Blessings to you

another pace..... Crochet Loops round

Open in Mobile App  Hi all, I tiny change of pace.....Ive been having a play with a crochet pic I found on the internet.... here is the link.http://www.flickr.com/photos/90733686@N00/4344226231/in/pool-1271867@N23/
It didn't have a pattern I could find and I don't know the name of this technique so I had a go at working it out. I don't claim to be any crocheting expert just someone who loves to have a go so if some of this dose not look or sound quite right  then you will know why LOL...... Ive drawn up a very simple crochet diagram as I seem to learn easier this way and you might also.

I have also done these video tutorials (part 1 & 2) for you to follow...... you will need to have some basic crochet skills.  I know I hold my wool a little weird, that's just me :) I hope you will enjoy this, I will be continuing on with mine to make a small blankie. If anyone knows what this is called pop me an email and let me know..... I'll update you all later when it has grown bigger.
Blessings to you
