whimsical Easter

Hi all, First of all please remember my instructions that I have for sale are WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS ONLY you do not get a video or the materials need to make the project. If you need any other advise about the pattern please email me before you buy!

I had another quick play with my Fancy that leafy swirl die from the paper hub and I thought it looked like something out of jack and the bean stalk! to me this card has a real whimsical Easter feel about it. I used Light bulbs die from quickutz for the large eggs, Fancy that leafy swirl for the branches, Lacey Ovals spellbinders die as a backing and the emboss folder was a cuttlebug/die set called With Gratitude. I glittered the eggs and mounted them up on some foam tape and to finish added a ribbon.... pretty simple but I love how it turned out!

I have also been playing in the garden and was so inspired by this blog post http://nogginsandnonsense.blogspot.it/2012/03/easter-centerpiece.html I had to make my own and here is how it turned out. The kids willl be home on for Easter on Wednesday! Yay!!! we are so excited :)

Blessings to you

and a last thought

“I will praise the Lord at all times.
I will constantly speak his praises”
(Psalm 34:1, NLT)

  1. Hi Valita, I've been following your blog for some time now but have never commented, however I wanted to say how much I am in awe of your gorgeous creations! There is so much thought that obviously goes into each piece - well done. I also love your Easter garden scene. I hope you and your family have a lovely Easter together. Helen (Sydney)

  3. Hi Valita! I just had to leave you a comment after watching your recent video. HONESTLY....anyone who thought they were going to receive anything more than the pattern from you must not understand that even you deserve to be reimbursed for all the time and energy you put into creating the patterns. To me......you are getting a "REAL DEAL" when you purchase one of your patterns.
Please know that there will always be those people who think everyone is out there to "take advantage" of others - but I can say without doubt....YOU ARE NOT ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE.

Please keep up the good work and let that comment ROLL OFF YOUR BACK - obviously they haven't made many purchases or understand that YOU deserve to be reimbursed for all your hard work.

  5. Valita!
BEAUTIFUL CARD!!!!!! When you use your own ideas that's what make them SOOO SPECIAL--looking like Jack & the Bean Stock! :) ( I agree! ) AND the little garden piece is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! Thank you for showing us! I know what you mean about your kids coming home for Easter! Our son will be coming home too! :) It DOES make a mom's heart happy to have her children home! :) AND as for the lady who thought she was taken advantage of---I used to do Direct Sales with Pampered Chef, & I had the same problem! Those people are LOOKING to find a way to get something they HAVEN'T PAID FOR! SOMETHING MORE! SOMETHING "FREE!" I haven't purchased any patterns from you, but I see it all over your blog, "Written Instructions Only!" You have a gracious spirit & people look to take advantage of it! I think your followers know what kind of person you are! :)Sometimes people do this also because they don't have to FACE YOU, being on the web!

  6. Your centerpiece is JUST RIGHT in telling the Gospel.
I might just have to "case" the centerpiece.
    Thanks for sharing.
