It was good to see they had settled in to Uni again and checked out both their rooms.
Ive also had the flu and have not felt much like doing anything so now I'm playing catch up. Got myself some new reading glasses which Ive been trying to avoid for some time now but my arm just isn't long enough anymore.
So to the flower card..... I used the new blossom punch from Stampin up for this one. sponged some colour in the center and used my large emboss tool to soften the card stock. Next I shaped the petals down with a bone folder, cut the petals in just a bit more and added a large jewel to the center. For the buds i cut off two petals for one bud and three for the other one, layered these up on some foam tape. The dies I used are called Fancy That. curly leaves and curly flourishes. The emboss tool can be found here

I do wish you would have give aways for for patterns
the emboss folder is from cuttlebug and is called window panes :)
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful and I can't wait to try it. I love your updates and creations so very much. Thank you over and over again!!
ReplyDeleteEveryone else commented so far on your lovely card -- and I think it is beautiful too. But what I really wanted to say is that you look so cute in your glasses. My youngest daughter is in her first year of college and it was interesting seeing your children's dorm rooms. Pretty similar to the ones in the USA, at least the ones our children have/had. My husband and I are retiring in a few months and along with our empty next, I'm finding all the changes a little unsettling. I know you've had your ups and downs too. I hope I can stay strong like you!
