'Men Only' best dressed punch art for men

Hi all, it's been a very quiet week for me but that's not always a bad thing :) Beth has started her prac teaching and is loving it! a bit strange making lunches for the kids and the teacher lol but each day has bought some exciting and funny things to see hear and learn for her and its been good to hear each day unfold. Our son just got his green P plates for the car which we were all very proud of and our youngest daughter has just had her Pomeranian dog mated so we are hoping to hear the pitter patter of lots of tiny feet soon!
Its been a very wet day here which has given me time indoors to finish my 'Men Only' best dressed punch art set! a set Ive been working on for a while now. This set is for sale and you will get the instructions to make 10 different looking punch art men. You will make the base man and then different clothes, hats etc to add to him. A great way to spice up those masculine cards that are always so hard to figure out! Fathers day is coming up soon in September ;) These are all made with Stampin Up punches and are very fun and easy to make! all the supplies can me purchased here through me.

If you know someone who struggles with ideas for making men's cards then why not make them a gift box with all the pieces inside! This is a simple mini pizza box that i have used here for mine. If you love punch art then you won't be disappointed! enjoy....

Doctor Who fans!!! Making a Dalek card....

Hi all, where dose time go? our son just turned 18 on the weekend and we are so proud of how he is maturing into a beautiful young man! It was so hard though to find a present for him as he's had a job now for some time so he has all the latest technical toys but hes always wanted a deep fryer as i normally don't cook like this so that's one of the things we got for him and he loved it! you can guess what we had for tea last night..... wedges chicko rolls and deep fried mars bars! oh dear... looks like a long ride on the bike for me today! He had a great day we went out for Chinese with all his friends. Ben is a big Doctor Who fan and you may remember the Tardis card i made for him on his 16th birthday. This time i made him a Dalek cake and card.
You will love this Dalek card pattern, it will be for sale here and i can guarantee it will be a big hit for all those special people in your lives! plus you can view the step by step video below and see how to put this together!

Patient.

Genuine love recognizes that all human beings are fallible;
it is long suffering; patient with the faults of others,
their failings and weaknesses; and enables
us to be calm when faced with trials.

making a gift box envelope for those bulky punch art cards

Hi again so soon ! I had an email from a lady called Cindy...Hi Cindy! asking me for some ideas as to how she could give her fuchsia card she had just made from my instructions without getting it squashed in a regular envelope...soooo i came up with this gift box envelope which i think will work well :) I wouldn't send this through the post though! this was an idea that you could use without taping your card directly to the present. I used a regular A4 size card in stampin up craft. On the horizontal i scored it at 2', 3', 71/2' and 81/2' and on the vertical i scored it 1' flipped it and score the opposite side at 1'. Cut each mark in to the 1' score on both sides of the vertical. the larger flat is the base of the box, glue those flaps closed. The smaller flat is to be left un glued so you can open it properly.....just tie this with a pretty ribbon to keep it closed! this pattern will help plus watch the video! :) hope this has helped. all these products bar the score pal can be purchased through me. Or if you live in the Nambucca Valley area and would like to do this as a workshop please contact me.

Fuchsia punch art card

Hi all, its been a very quiet week here with our kids away but they are back today and had a great time with 17 kids for the week....they and the kids were truly blest! we went up on the Thursday and cooked 18 home made pizzas for the team with our cool pizza oven and they loved it! good job guys!! so proud of the service you have done for others in another community.
I wanted to show you a fuchsia card I made some weeks ago but haven't got round to putting it on. This was pretty easy to make and I wanted to stick to all stampin up punches to do it. I used the following stampin up punches:

2 of the 5 petal flower for the main petals and petal leaves.
2 scallop ovals, glued side by side then rolled for the long trumpet part in the center.
Boho punch, the largest flower to make part of the green petals near the stem
2 large hearts for the leaves
the stamens were done the same way i made the lily stamens
then just a thin strip for the stalk :)
Real red ink for the flower and the leaves
All these products can be ordered here through me :)

enjoy! :)
Blessings to you

Christmas in July, punch art Bauble

Hi all, its been so cold here!!!! our town has sold out of hot water bottles! we've been using one each night to go to bed and were wanting to get 3 more for our kids, they have gone to a smaller town an hour from here to do STORM CO. (service to others really matters) they run a kids club with crafts, clowning, games, puppets, music etc.. for a week of the school holidays and do a community service in the afternoons, this year its cleaning up the hospital gardens. So they are going to freeze!! but i know God will bless both them and the families that attend. Good on ya guys! I have also been working hard to update my blog.....you will notice lots of new things to look at ( the header pic is my tiny studio where i hang out and create, and i have all my links in the top tabs plus stampin ups stuff down the new left side bar which my son helped me work out...Thanks Ben your a gem!!)and i hope you like and enjoy my new look blog...any who what you read next will be a laugh for all you American stampin up ladies. We don't have the bauble punch here in our catalogues hopefully soon in our new cat. in September so i came up with this version of the bauble punch but the laughable thing is that it takes 5 punches to make your 1 bauble punch .....that's ok this is for the Australian ladies or those who don't have that great punch yet!
so Ive made mine with stampin ups.....

large heart
Wide oval
scallop oval
large oval
spiral (1 section)

Ive layered the heart on top of the wide oval making sure the side are matching in shape, add the one section from the spiral punch for the hanger then ran this through the emboss folder, layered over the top of the heart is the scallop oval then the large oval with a stamped message. Added some crystal effects to the scallops and some glitter.

So this is my Stampin up attempt to do a Christmas card without having any Christmas punches or stamp sets yet (besides a few sayings) .....i hope you Australian ladies will enjoy this as we wait for this beautiful punch to arrive on our soil! enjoy :)
Blessings to you

Yet the Lord still waits for you to
come to Him, so He can show you His love;
He will conquer you to bless you,
just as He said. For the Lord is faithful
to His promises. Blessed are all those who
wait for Him to help them.
